ワタスゲ（綿菅）
カヤツリグサ科スゲ属
尾瀬ヶ原や尾瀬沼周辺の湿原、至仏山中腹の湿原などに生育する。尾瀬ヶ原や大江川湿原に群落を形成し、数年に一度の当たり年には白い絨毯と化す。早春に黄色い花を付け、よく目にする白い綿毛は花の咲いた後の果穂である。
高さ20〜50cm。花期は５月。果穂は６〜７月。実の大きさは２〜2.5cm。

I grow it in Ozegahara and a damp plain of the Lake Ozenuma outskirts, a damp plain of a Shibutsu Yamanaka stomach.
I form stock in Ozegahara and an Ooegaea damp plain and change into a white carpet 1 degree thing in a year in several years.
I take out a yellow flower in the early spring, and white cotton wool to see well is an ear after having bloomed of a flower.
20-50cm high.
Flowering season is May.
An ear is the six or seven moon.
Real size is two or more 2.5cm.
